Collectible Llamas, Inc. (CLI) exists to enhance the long-term viability and profitability of the llama industry through the promotion and marketing of all types of Llamas.

NO MEMBERSHIP DUES REQUIRED

  
As with any new industry organization, founders sometimes inadvertently follow in some of the same footsteps that were laid by other organizations that preceded them. Initially that is what CLI did when it offered memberships. 

CLI is a non-profit corporation and is managed in a professional and businesslike manner. The EMC (Executive Management Council) provides stability for the organization (versus an elected board of directors that changes annually), develops and implements short and long-range plans and oversees all aspects of the organization. This ensures CLI’s mission is carried out in a consistent way to benefit all llama owners.

After observing other llama organizations demanding dues from llama owners and giving them virtually nothing for their money, the EMC has decided it is not in the best interest of the industry or CLI to have a membership program. 

Effectively immediately, CLI will no longer offer memberships. Instead, 
  • Participants can pay for shows, events and services as they go. 
  • All llama owners and breeders can register their llamas with “The Registry” CLR (Certified Llama Registry) and be assured of having a credible, accurate and legitimate certificate of registration that creates value for their llamas.
  • No one will be required to be a member to register llamas or to take advantage of all the services The Registry offers.
  • Llama owners and breeders can attend any CLI llama show and take advantage of the best education and unbiased judging the industry has to offer, without being required to be a member or pay extra fees.
  • Llama owners and breeders can attend any CLI seminar and not be required to be a member or pay extra fees. 

Member benefits for those who joined previously will be honored. 

The CLI Breed Association is by far the best value in the llama industry. Owners and breeders can always be assured of being treated fairly and with utmost respect. And best of all……. no membership dues or extra fees are required to participate.
