The Certified Llama Registry
Appointed Llama Industry Exclusive Distributor for
AVID Microchips
....
The Certified Llama Registry
(CLR), a division of CLI (Collectible Llamas, Inc.), has signed a definitive agreement with
EZid, a wholly owned subsidiary of AVID Corporation, to be the exclusive distributor of AVID Microchip implants for the llama industry.
In this capacity CLI, through its registry, the CLR, will be responsible for the distribution of implantable AVID microchips to the llama industry. The Registry will issue an AVID microchip each time it registers a llama and also can issue microchips for llamas that are not registered with the
CLR. For ease of implanting, each microchip is issued in a single, preloaded, disposable syringe.
In conjunction with this agreement, the CLR is in the process of completing all necessary and mandatory documentation with the USDA and AVID Corporation to be the only officially registered AIN Manager of microchip implants for the llama industry. In this official capacity an AIN Manager's records are compiled monthly and transmitted to AVID Corporation for entry into their tracking database. This data remains on file forever, providing additional identification security for the Registry's customers and their llamas. Should a llama become lost and later be found, any individual or veterinarian possessing almost any type of microchip reader can read the microchip number in the llama, call AVID's Hot Line and locate the llama's owner. This service provided by AVID is considered the gold standard of animal identification.
CLI, a non-profit organization, encourages you to do your part in supporting the llama industry by purchasing your microchips and readers from the
CLR. Unlike other private dealers who sell microchips to the llama industry and take the money from the industry for their own personal use, CLI reinvests the dollars in the llama industry to continually make it stronger.
Experience the peace of mind of using a registry where you can register your llamas with confidence that the Certificate of Registration issued completely and accurately states the llama's true pedigree.
